Meet KAM Ine Andersen. Ine works as a Key Account Manager at Data Respons Solutions office at Høvik, in Norway. Ine has worked with us for almost 3 years now, taking really good care of our MedTech / HealthTech customers.
Ine, how did you get into sales?
I have been wanting to get into sales since I finished my bachelor’s degree. I am passionate about collaborating with people and want to make a difference for my customers and a career in sales appealed to me. Being in sales is so right for me, as I love being able to follow development processes from the beginning to the end-product and I get to use my technical background.
When did you know that this was what you wanted to do?
After finishing school, I knew that I wanted a technical degree as I love maths and physics. I ended up studying Electronics and Information Technology, specialising in Medical Technology at Oslo and Akershus University College (Now Oslo MET).
After I finished my engineering degree, I applied for a summer internship at Oslo University Hospital as a service engineer for medical equipment. I realised that fixing and repairing equipment wasn’t for me. I wanted a career in medical sales, either as a product specialist, sales engineer or as a Key Account Manager.
What is it like working in the intersection of solutions sales and technology?
It is the best of both worlds really, developing smart technology solutions for our customers. We can make just about anything from scratch. Data Respons Solutions is a company with a lot of skilled employees who works closely and long-term with their customers. You really get to know your customers business’.
What motivates you?
Helping my customers succeed and bringing advanced medical solutions, that makes a difference to so many people, to the marketplace.

Why would you recommend someone to work at Data Respons Solutions?
Because you get to work on such a variety of cases, industries, and technologies. We have a good social network with a focus on being healthy and active. Everyone participates, regardless of age. If there is any sport or activity you want to arrange you just create a workplace event and invite colleagues. There is always someone who wants to join.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Knitting, running and cross-country skiing are my favourite activities. Family is everything to me. Being with my two small children, watching them grow older and being a great motivator for them is the most important thing for me.
