Rugged Vehicle Gateway

Low power IoT gateway computer designed for outdoor installation on vehicles operating in worldwide environmental conditions – compliance tested for global radio regulations.

Overview

The maintenance-free IoT gateway system is ideal for data acquisition and transmission in extreme environments throughout a number of outdoor and vehicle applications.

For wireless communication 4G LTE, 2.4GHz WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with active antenna supported are available. Two antennas for LTE (FAKRA D coding), one for GPS (FAKRA C coding) and one for Wi-Fi/BT (FAKRA I coding) can be connected.

Via the 35P AMPSEAL connector, the Vehicle Gateway provides interfaces for 1x 10/100 Mbit Ethernet, 2x CAN 2.0b, 1x 1-wire, 2x analog input, 3x digital input (GPI) and 4x digital output (GPO).

Not least thanks to the energy-efficient NXP i.MX 6DualLite, the Vehicle Gateway has an extremely low energy consumption.

The ruggedness is underlined by the extended operating temperature range from -40 °C to + 80 °C.

The vehicle edge-computer meets the requirements of ISO 7637-2 and E-Mark.
